The world of computers is constantly evolving. Microsoft’s™ latest operating system is Windows™ 11. Auramed GmbH had to adapt to this development process with the Biopulsar Reflexograph® and has further developed the Biopulsar software as well as the hardware. This also raises questions regarding the compatibility of the older 32 bit Biopulsar sensors as well as the Biopulsar software with the various operating systems.
Shift from 32 bit to 64 bit processor
It is important to understand that there has been a shift from the 32 bit to a 64 bit processor architecture in the Windows™ operating systems. Up to Windows™ 10, 32-bit processors are supported, and from Windows™ 11 onwards only 64-bit processors. This has an impact on your Biopulsar Reflexograph® system.
How do I find out my serial number?
You can find your serial number on the bottom of your sensor or your registration data sheet.
How do I know which processor my sensor has?
If your Biopulsar Reflexograph® sensor has a 10-digit serial number XX/XX/XXXXXX, it means that this is a 32 bit sensor that can be operated up to Windows™ 10. Depending on the Windows update, the sensor may also run under Windows™ 11, but with certain restrictions.
If your Biopulsar Reflexograph® sensor has a 12-digit serial number XX/XXXX/XXXXXX, it means that you have the latest 64 bit sensor that can be operated with Windows™ 10 and 11 without restrictions.
What operating systems does my sensor work on?
* Depending on the update, the 32 bit Biopulsar sensor may still work under Windows 11 , but with limitations. Basically, Windows™ 11 is not a stable platform for the older 32 bit sensor and is therefore not recommended. Further updates can make the Biopulsar system increasingly unstable or even completely deactivate it.
What processors does the latest Biopulsar software work for?
The Biopulsar software version 4.14.X works for both 32 bit and 64 bit processors.
Firewall/Driver Settings
When you go online, Microsoft™ can make security updates in the background. This also applies to Windows™ 7. Therefore, certain settings must also be made here, so that the operating system does not block the Biopulsar Reflexograph® system. For more information, please contact info@auramed.de.
Is there a fee to update to the latest Biopulsar version?
Yes. You can get an offer from Auramed GmbH, info@auramed.de. For this, please give your Biopulsar serial number, registration data, name and address.
Windows™ 10 will no longer be supported as of October 2025.
What can I do?
Windows™ 10 will not be shut down but will continue to work. However, no more functions or security updates are to be made. For smooth operation in practice, we recommend „Windows 10 professional offline“ for your 32 bit Biopulsar sensor. Othherwise, you can install an external firewall. In this case, you need to add Biopulsar as an exclusion so that the program is not blocked. For information on settings, contact info@auramed.de.
Where can I get another Windows™ 10 Pro laptop?
These are still offered on the Internet.
